Do other spicy peppers work as well at being a natural laxatives as Cayenne Peppers do?

When ever you read about natural laxatives, Cayenne Peppers are always mentioned but what about all the other spicy peppers like Jalapenos, Habaneros, and Naga Jolokia Peppers? I'm one of those nutty people that likes to spice up EVERYTHING and I was feeling constipated today so I used Cayenne Peppers on my food for dinner. The problem was I had to use so much to raise the spiciness of my meal to my expectations that the pepper completely dominated the taste. I much rather of used Habaneros. Can I expect the laxative result of other spicy peppers to be as potent as Cayenne Peppers? It seems reasonable. Give me some nutritional science to back it up.
