Is my teacher messed up or is this just different?

My teacher is about 50, he served in the Marines. But for our class he tries to act so funny, he drinks WindEx to try to prove to us that it is not harmful. He would also eat lady bugs to try to act funny. Right in the middle of our tests he would decide he should scare us and scream at the top of his lungs. We were watching a movie once and the bad guy died and so we started cheering, and then he said, " I hope the same happens to you." He said that directly to me, so I was just about to say "ditto", until he decided he should scream bloody murder. Also, our school is really big into basketball and he called us a bunch of pathetic cry babies and he hoped we got last place. He also thinks it is funny to just belch or fart in the middle of class. I'm not complaining about him cause sometimes he can be a really good teacher, but is he just different or messed up?
