Column like you see em - Plants vs zombies advice?

If you play the game, you come across this mini game once you complete adventure mode. One of the achievements of this game is to complete "column like you see em" with no jalapenos. I'm having trouble completing this level without the jalapenos. If you have done this achievement, could you please give me tips on how you managed to do it? I always have the watermelons right at the back, tall nuts at the front and the potato mines with magnet shrooms right behind. If you have played this level, what order do you suggest I use to avoid using the jalapenos?
