How can I grow jalapeno peppers in Canada?

Start them indoors under a grow light six weeks before your last frost date. When the outside temps warm up during the day, start hardening off the plants by putting them outside for an hour or so the first day, increasing the time outdoors each day until they spend most of the day outside. When the soil temp reaches sixty degrees you can transplant them in the garden. After that, feed, water, and watch them grow. Jalapenos can also be grown in large containers with great success.
