How would you solve the education crisis?

Gen Ed should continue to be 2 years. I am kind of traditional in that having an education means that you have a reasonable amount of "traditional" education. I mean even if you wont use history or english every day of your life it's nice that you are very well rounded and not ignorant. I love the hands on and service skill training idea though! This should also be done in high school! And I agree about the 3 year program idea.
