What is better? a career in journalism or in PR?

As of now I am working in a PR department of a daily. I recently got an offer to become the editor for supplements in another daily. The new job has a lower salary because i am new to editing but it has more responsibility. I joined my current job a couple of months back and i am new to the field of PR as I have always been a journalist..now I dont know what do...do I leave PR and go back to newspapers and a new field at a lower salary or continue this one....PR has money but no recognition but journalism has less money but more recognition...what do i do? help me please
