Why does my bf like to scare me :S?

if we are watching a scary movie ... he puts his hand on my leg and kinda shakes me all of the sudden... then he says shi+ like omg look there's a monster sitting next to you... also he finds it amusing when I'm scared of a bug like spider... wtf is this? does he find it cute or something to see me scared?
