You have seen the problem. There is no way to get rid of them if they keep finding a way in. If there weren't the drought conditions, you could exterminate them in the house. But you obviously can't go outside and kill them all. There is no repellent that I know of. There was a few years ago an electronic repellent you could plug into the wall. Did I buy the wrong pepper plant; I wanted jalapenos, but they're really light green?

I bought a 4 pack of what was labeled jalapenos (over a month ago). I am not an experienced gardner, and I have never grown jalapenos. They are all blooming and growing like crazy, but they are very, very light green. Some are even yellowish. I have yet to pick one because I am wondering if they will darken, but so far they have not. Most of the peppers are still small, about 2 inches, but one of them is about 4-5 inches...and what's weird is it is the one lightest in color. How can I get grass to stop growing in my vegetable garden? We paid to have somebody rototill it but obviously they did not do a good job I guess. The vegetables are coming up well, but there is a lot of grass coming up too. How can I kill all the grass without killing the veggies and melons? My 4yr old son, Noah LOOOOVES spicy foods! One day my older neice came by eating hot cheetos and she went to the restroom (leaving the cheetos on the coffee table) and i caught him eating them! Fruits/vegetables in my garden stay small as they ripen?

We live in a townhouse with a small patio garden. We moved in August of last year...inherited 5 yr old fig tree. Tree had fruit in August, but all fell off before ripening. When we got second batch in late Sept, those ripened, but most were just barely larger than a quarter (tasted fine just small). This spring I put in a jalapeno plant and a tomato plant- both are growing like weeds (though tomato plant hasn't produced fruit yet) but the first jalapeno showed up about... two months ago?? I'm not good with estimating time...anyway, I left it on the plant forever waiting for it to grow, but I picked it off today (so ripe that it had turned completely red) and it's not even 2 inches long. About two weeks ago, the plant flowered and now I have dozens of baby peppers...so I was thinking maybe it's just too hot for the fig and maybe this jalapeno was small because it was the first of the season (and the first for the plant) but, since the miniature produce thing seems to be a trend in my garden, I figured I'd throw it out there and see if anyone had an idea of what else might be causing them to be so small. Okay, so today I was at band practice and suddenly my arm started itching like crazy and i looked at it and all these light brown bugs were crawling on it and on my clothes! Are my lips allergic to something or is it just my head?

The thing is, allergic reaction would include swelling, itching, hives. An irritant reaction would include burning, redness, discomfort. Eczema would probably be a chronic condition of the lips that you would have to treat on an ongoing basis. I would say that since all these incidents happened in conjunction with foods that you have had an allergic vs irritant skin reaction to the food or ingredient. It may be that you just have sensitive or allergic prone lips, especially with a history of eczema on your hands. And if you do have eczema on the lips, then that eczema would easily get irritated with spicy/hot/acidic foods. The mango/strawberries probably have a certain amount of citric acid in them which may burn the lips, even though the rest of you is okay. So, I think that limiting these foods and avoid touching them to your lips would be the best thing. However, if it continues to be a problem or gets worse, you should check with a dermatologist who can give you medication for treating your lips. My parents have always saved the seeds of watermelon, avocados, or garlic. They've only successfully planted the avocado seeds and garlic seeds. They literally just throw the seeds in the soil once they sprout. I really love Jalape�os and I bought a jar of pickled Jalape�os peppers that were sliced up, they had the seeds in them. I wan to attend NYU next year, but the problem is i did reall bad in ap biology, with a 64%. So it made my average 84%. This year i had to take mostly electives or unnecessary coures because im in saudi arabia in an american curriculum school. I have an 88% in english this year, a 90% in precalculus, an 80% in arabic native, 86% in career educaion, and 80% in PE. Last ear however i did better, when i was in America. I got all over 90 except for ao us history with an 86. And freshman year i did good as well with only two courses, french 3 and art in the mid-high 80s. I've had morning sickness all day for 2 weeks and tonight it disappeared?

I'm about 6 or 7 weeks, not entirely sure yet since I don't know the date of conception. I have had pretty moderate morning sickness alllll day for almost 2 weeks, and I had it today but after I ate around 1 PM it went away. Even when I became hungry again I didn't get nauseated. I even just now ate a crap load of jalapeno potato chips and twizzlers and I am very full which usually makes me sick but I still don't feel sick!!! My boobs still hurt. Guy problems. Please help?

Okay so theres a guy I like and I told him I liked him and he told me he liked me back! This was about 3 or 4 weeks ago. And lately like in the past week and a half we haven't been talking...he most of the time texts me/ skypes me first but he hasn't been doing that...And when I text him be doesn't respond to "whats up?" its sort of bugging me...were not dating or anything. I'm thinking he may have gotten over me. I don't want to seem clingy in any way or make him feel uncomfortable. Even if he doesn't like me anymore I still want to be friends with him. How would I do that if he rarely texts me back? I asked him to come bowling with me and some friends today but he couldn't because he had to babysit. All I want to be is friends( IF he doesn't like me back. Heh heh if he still does that is different..) and my friends say I should call him but that seems clingy/ desprate in my eyes. Plus I've never called him before nor have I video chatted him. I think that would be a bit awkward for both of us knowing that we both like eachother. I think i need a change......?

I'm not even sure if this is the right category to be writing in or what. I don't really know where else to turn. I am a 21 year old female. I have, until last semester and one a few semesters previous, been enrolled in college, although no real passion or path in what to do with my life. My major was communications/broadcast journalism, but I honestly did not have a real strive for it, and was not particularly great at broadcast journalism. My grades plummeted and I eventually was forced to enroll in community college, where I didn't do too great, I was just taking basic gen-eds. I then and still have no idea and have tried to figure out with no success a path for myself, which led to extreme laziness. I've had off and on jobs (nothing career-wise). Money went to utilities, groceries, weed (which, yes, did start a little bit of the problem, but has also helped with stress and anxiety..etc). I'm now living with my two best friends. I'm a waitress at a local restaurant in my town. I'm not enrolled in school. I just work. The same days. Every week. They don't sell alcohol. I mostly wait on old people. I bet working somewhere with a bar or something would be more fun, and I would meet some cool people. My social life is not 1/10th what it used to be. I do the same thing every day. I, like, sleep late. Wake up/get ready for work if i do that morning. One morning during the week, one or two on the weekends. The rest of my shifts start at four or five. I have the same two days off in a row a week. All the servers where I work are girls. Some of them are pretty bitchy. A few of them are cool. My best friend works there. I live with her (18) and my other best friend(21). One is in school, the one that works with me is not. I have no boy in my life at all, although I wish I had. I used to be so social. I sometimes go out, and guys do talk to me. But I'm also pretty picky. I can't help it. I don't even want a BOYFRIEND, per se. But I'm in such a slump. I'm good looking, I'm not trying to bound stuck up. I think a lot of people see me as a sl*t. No further comment on that really, I don't know. I thought about going to a REALLY good cosmetology school, but I deep, deep, deep down know it is not for me. It is the feeling I have with everything career-wise. Absolutely nothing feels right and I feel like I would have known it by now.. ? Maybe I should take some career aptitude test or something? That seems so easy. My life is boring. I wish something or someone could make it interesting for me again. I feel at times it's miserable. Am I going to be staying in a shitty apartment waiting tables the same day every week alone for my entire life? My parents live four hours away from me, now. But we love each other very much. They greatly express how much they love and miss me. I don't think they know how much I love and miss them. They moved away after we moved to the town we were in and I was in school, living with two of my friends, 18, and happy. SO i stayed behind. Which was totally okay at the time. I was, and maybe still am, okay on my own. I eventually had a boyfriend who I saw as perfect. We dated for a year and a half. We were in love. He later moved to Dallas after he graduated college. I don't know what to make of that. I honestly do not know if it has anything to do with anything (I don't know what to call this at all, honestly.) If this were a year, maybe a little bit over, ago, I would have no problem opening up to a friend or something. Between those two times I smoked a LOT of pot, which maybe helped with some aspects, but I've researched that it temperaliry rewires the brain when habitually used. I know, not the smartest idea. I know. Everything else, I don't know. Do I moved home? I don't know who to talk to. I'm sorry if this is stupid. I just don't know what to do.

Where's breakfast? That's the most meal of the day. I like the exercises, but I'm not too keen on the diet. It seems really extreme and not that healthy. Just my opinion. At the very least I would opt for adding two servings of veggies in there, I would also get rid of the Tofu and add beans or chicken breast in it's place.

Why is there a pimple on my leg with a red ring around it?

This morning I woke up with a bug-bite looking bump, with a thin, red rind around it. I didn't pay much attention to it and I just ignored it. Then like 20 minutes later, the bug-bite bump turned into a bulls-eye dot and the red ring was still there. Then another 30 minutes went by and I looked at my leg. My New Sony Cybershot Camera Model DSC Hx7v?

Soo, I got a new camera the model above and so I noticed that after I take a picture it's take them nice and all but then once I press the button to view it, nothing happens i need to press that button like up to four times, am pretty sure it's not supposed to do that but it does and I also realized and not sure about the smile shutter setting, like once I put it in the setting I figure all it has to do is see someone smile and it boom takes the picture without having to press the shutter and it doesn't work, unless that's how it supposed to be I dunno know, but does anyone out there with experience or owns the camera know if theres a way to fix or is that how it is? Sims 3 custom content does not show up in game?

Basically, I had a saved game file with a bug in it or something so I started playing with the backup in the folder, and I copied the backup so I could have a backup for my new file. However, when i ran the game after deleting the original malicious file,all my custom content was gone. So I tried to install it again, along with some new stuff, all from TSR and other 3rd party sites. It says, "success" for each of the files and shows up initially in the installed content folder, but then none of the stuffa actully is in the game. And then if I launch the game again, the items are in downloads but not installed....help?

Stomachache after finding old soup?

Contraceptive pill?- I had a gastric bug last weekend and was throwing up. Am I still protected?

I had a gastric bug that started with me vomiting on the weekend. I was feeling quite queezy in the stomach on Friday so I didn't take my levlen pill till around 5pm that day. I didn't throw up till the next morning at 6am and the throwing up was continuous the entire day. When I was feeling slightly better, I took my pill at 8pm and didn't throw up at all after that. On Sunday, I had 1 pill in the morning and 1 at night, just to be on the safe Side. I usually take my pills around 7am everyday. It's now Wednesday and I have taken them at my normal normal time since sunday. Am I protected? I am only 16 so I don't want there to be any risks with me becoming pregnant.

I appear to have bug bites when i wake yet my wife doesnt ?

Last Friday I was bit by a Mosquito. Not really thinking about it a few days passed and My angles began to itch... with that being said it seems that my hands , elbows , and ankles seem to have several bites on them more and tends to show when i wake! We have no signs of bed bugs and my wife has not been bitten , and i clean 2-3 times a week (vacuuming/ dusting/laundry). We have had a cat adopted now since march.. with front line and hes a indoor cat only so I dont think its fleas either but i could be wrong? For the last week I have been ill I came down with a stomach bug I think and it drained all my energy the day after I was completely out of it. Mosquito and bug bite cures?

I camped outside with my friends, and silly me, wore shorts and a sweatshirt. And I got bit, all over. Like, twenty bug bites on my legs. I think go with the quieter one - at the end of the day your degree is the most important. Also, if your friends are in the other one, you can always go over there to hang out when you want to have fun. But you can get away from that when you need to study.

Okay. I'm having a REALLY difficult time trying to figure out what I'm going to do with my life. I go to a quaint little two year college for an Associates in Addiction Studies. When I transfer to a four year university could I major in something like Journalism? Or anything unrelated to what I got my Associates in? I don't want to make a wrong move. Also. Is it a wise idea to switch majors after four quarters while on Financial Aid? Or would that be a stupid thing to do? I picked Addiction Studies when I first started and have changed my mind a billion different times since then. Am I just trapped? Bigger newspapers would have specialized reporting. Smaller ones don't have enough reporters, all reporters do all types of reporting at smaller papers. Specialized would be if a certain reporter always covered education. Or a certain reporter always covered crime, etc. It's relevant because if you are going to be a reporter, depending on where you will be working, you might want to try for a special type of reporting like I mentioned. Whatever interests you most.

I have a weird bump on my leg?

Today I was hiking through the wetlands of California where there was some grass and bushes my leg brushed against, it looks like a drop of water from the top but it definitely is solid, I think it could be a bug bite but I'm not sure, there's a bit of red around it but it's not a mosquito bite, there is no itching and I really didn't even feel it, is it a wart? Bumps on my Jalapeno Peppers?

Last year I had a bunch of jalapeno peppers and okra that all developed tiny, hard bumps on the surface of the skin on the fruit (both the peppers and the okra fruit alone, not the plants themselves). The plants all seemed healthy and produced very high yields. However, nearly all of the peppers and okra had a dozen or more tiny bumps on each of them. The bumps are very tiny, about the size of a pin head, they are hard to the touch, and if any color was exhibited at all, it was a tiny bit of black. Anyone know what this might be? I just picked the first group of jalapeno peppers from this year's crop and they all have those bumps all over their skin again! Please advise! Is it just a soil condition or if I have a pest living inside the skin of the fruit? Thanks!

Bug bite thats caused baseball sized reddish looking rash with purple bruising?

Hello we're in central Illinois and went camping over the weekend my friend first noticed the bite on Saturday which looked like a mosquito bite. It was normal skin color and about the size of a peanut M & M. It was itchy. On Sunday the bump was gone and in its place was a large reddish rash with bruising. It is not painful to the touch but itches sometimes and does not appear to have gotten bigger than on sunday although the bruising has gotten slightly more purplish in color there is no signs of puss or any type of fever. The reddish color literally looks likes someone punched you in the stomach several times but with 4 day old looking purple bruising. We were attacked by mosquito's and chiggers that weekend and its deer tick territory out there...we also have brown recluses in that area i've never seen a bite like that. What do you think it was? Shes trying to avoid a hospital ill if she can....what do you think?

Can flavored beef jerky be the cause of my puppy's excessive vomiting?

so i joined this site where you go on webcam and can talk that way with people. i met this amazing guy a little over a year ago and we have been talking ever since. we talk everyday if hes not working (hes in the military) for a while we were just friends he and i both were with someone because we decided to be friends because of distance (4 to 6 hours away), we even stayed in contact when he was deployed and went on cam whenever we could while he was deployed. we talk all the time, talk on the phone, webcam, we can literally talk about anything. hes one person i can go to about anything i have been sort of sick the past few weeks and hes been bugging me to go to the doctor to get checked (im stubborn with things like that) anyway, i can honestly tell that he cares, we are on cam even when hes hanging out in his room with his friends, they even talk to me haha. anyway, its been over a year and we havent met yet (my plans last summer got screwed up so thats why we didnt meet) but i told him i want to come up with a few of my friends to meet him and hang out near his town for the weekend. he said me and my friends can hang out with him and his. anyway, i know some poeple say people online aren't always who they say they are but he's just the one person who is always there for me like i am for him we can calm each other down when we are upset about something, he gets me and i get him, it almost feels like ive already met him in person thats how close we are, i dont even care that im on cam in my pjs when im on cam with him thats how comfortable i am lol, i know im sure some of you will think im crazy but its a gut feeling about him. and i feel comfortable meeting him since im gonna have my friends with me and hes gonna have his, it wont be just the two of us. has anyone been in a similar way before and has it worked out for you? Laptop screen won't work. Login is bugged?

So all of a sudden I restart my computer and I go to the login screen of my laptop, where you put your password. I login in, and after 5 seconds it goes back to the login screen again. It just sends me back there instead of starting. It gives me a black flash and then sends me back to it no matter how many times I try to login. I tried safe mode, but obv couldn't login. -_- I tried to repair but didn't work. Anyone know what else I can do? :|

What kind of bug or arachnid was this?

Ok so I was out in my backyard and my dad found this bug and it looked really weird. It had 2 sets of pincers for its mouth and they were vertically next to each other (not one on top of the other) it had an orange head and the abdomen was beige with a black stripe going down the middle. It had 6 legs maybe 8 because the two on the front were thicker than the others(but there were no pincers on it) they were more like clubs. and it only has 2 eyes

Why are is my sleep/dreams becoming extremely intense. PLEASE HELP ME !?

So when I went to sleep on 6/27/2011 I went to sleep and dreamed that I was just sitting in my room staring at my closet. I know that it has nothing to do with being gay because im the farthest thing from it and right after that phase of the dream I was having sex with a girl that I was rather attracted to. But they were different from my normal dreams. They were more real. Like after the sex scene I was walking with a friend and I saw this girl who lived in las vegas nevada. But she was walking in my hometown in Ohio. the next morning she posted a status saying she was on a flight to Ohio for 2 weeks. But apparantly she was just kidding. Its just odd that she even joked about coming here. as if its on her mind. and its also in my dreams ? But the next night (which is tonite) I remember directly before I entered my deep sleep I remembered having a little nap. But in this nap I litterally CREATED MY DREAM. Like everything that happened. I thought it up and it just started to happen. Like I was walking through a town of all wooden houses because I like wooden houses. and I picked up a saumari helmet and I wanted to get hit in the head with a chinese throwing star. and I did right after I thought about it. So am I creating ? or am I predicting ? But anyway Once I entered my deep sleep I dreamed that someone was knocking on my garage door for some odd reason late at night. (notice both me dreams the past 2 nights have taken place mostly at home. I usually never have dreams at home. So anyway back to my dream. I went downstairs to let whoever in. I opened the garage door and I seen nobody.. so went to my front door. and It was open. I got really scared cause this dream seemed also very real. When I got inside I found one of my friends named James In my living room. He told me he was piss drunk and needed a place to stay. In real life ohio. School has just let out. and James has actually been doing much partying (when I always wished hed come to football practice instead). so I let him sleep. but than if i remember correctly James was having trouble with something. I heard him from my room upstairs. It had to be something very loud for me to hear it. But when I went downstairs he was gone. Than I was for some reason riding in the car with my parents and they were talking to me about james. than we randomly stopped and looked at a group of kids coming out of a church who were extremely intoxicated. The kids that I seen have been doing alot of partying in real life due to their graduation and they were successful track athletes. So that was predictable I guess. So that diddnt bug me that much other than it was a wierd dream. But when I woke up from the dream. I was awoken to my laptop being on even though it was off when I went to sleep. and a song was playing on youtube. what could of made it play ? it wasnt on repeat or loop or anything because after I woke up the song was almost over and than it stopped playing. I right away got onto this because this is just getting insane. Does anybody know how to intensify their dreams even more ? I need to do this more often to find out whats going on. Is it ok to eat jalapenos peppers while breastfeeding?

my baby is two weeks old im breastfeeding and supplementing. I did"nt really have cravings while i was pregnant but i got them now. i crave jalapenos with lunch and dinner, milk and oreos, chips with hot sauce. chocolate salads, banana chocolate milkshakes, soda every now and then but for the most part jalapenos. So is spicy food ok to eat? will it affect my baby. Im first time mother so mothers with experience or lactation knowledge any info is welcomed thanks.

What type or tomatoes & peppers do you plant?

I would grow one hot pepper and the other 4 to cook and or eat raw in salads. You only need ONE hot pepper. My choice would be Jalapeno. Some of the other hot peppers you list can cause damage. My tomato choices are: one yellow (I plant yellow pear), one grape tomato (you call it red pear), one Roma (because they bear early, don't have to be staked, are meaty for sauces and sandwiches). Then I choose a real early like Early Girl or Big Boy and my very favorite is an Amish Heirloom that I just save the seeds from and use year after year. The flavor is unbeatable. There are several varieties out there and there are heirloom seed sources online. All tomatoes that I grow are washed and dried and put in bags for the freezer and I have a year's supply. I don't care for the purple Cherokee or the ripe green tomatoes. I buy 4x8 foot sheets of reinforcing wire (hog wire) and bend them into a circle and place them around the tomato plant when they are transplanted as they are the only thing that will hold my voluptuous tomato crops

SHOULD I RING MY MIDWIFE OR IS THIS NORMAL?

first pregnancy, not moved out of bed all day. extreme back ache, headache & stomach cramps. Whatever ive ate for the past 3 days ive threw back up, managed to keep down a slice of toast even juice is making me barf, but the thought of drinking just water makes my mouth water with sicky type saliva. (I reallly dont like water). I dont know if ive got a bug or theres something wrong. Help?! :'(

You're really punishing your body here. Instead of trying to get fiber from a really inefficient source like cereal, eat peas. Bell pepper and onions are just garnishes. Increase the fruits to a full serving of each, and eat a raw carrot instead of baked, and steamed asparagus instead. It will reduce the calories and actually give your body something to work with.

Does anyone know how to get rid of silverfish?

I have never seen a bug in this house before until a few hours ago. I saw a silverfish in my bed, then a HUGE beetle in the bathroom sink. I changed all the sheets on my bed. The dirty sheets are in the wash & the clean sheets are on my bed. I found 3 more silverfish crawling on the comforter! I just put that in the washer but have no idea where these things are coming from all of a sudden & how can I get rid of them ASAP?! I have the creepie crawlies now & can't sleep!

What's happening to me?

So lately I've felt really tired and lazy. Also I think I missed my period, by three days. I have been drinking a lot alcohol more so I even thought that could be why. I have bug bites all over my legs, but on my right leg its all black and blue around one bite. But there is a patch of healthy skin around it too. It hurts my whole leg when I touch it and move. I don't know if all of these symptoms are from the same thing or totally different things. Also I have patches of light black and blue on my other thigh, I don't know how I got it. Help!!

Is my teacher messed up or is this just different?

My teacher is about 50, he served in the Marines. But for our class he tries to act so funny, he drinks WindEx to try to prove to us that it is not harmful. He would also eat lady bugs to try to act funny. Right in the middle of our tests he would decide he should scare us and scream at the top of his lungs. We were watching a movie once and the bad guy died and so we started cheering, and then he said, " I hope the same happens to you." He said that directly to me, so I was just about to say "ditto", until he decided he should scream bloody murder. Also, our school is really big into basketball and he called us a bunch of pathetic cry babies and he hoped we got last place. He also thinks it is funny to just belch or fart in the middle of class. I'm not complaining about him cause sometimes he can be a really good teacher, but is he just different or messed up?

My girlfriend has to keep peeing during sex. Major kill-joy. What do I do?

We're aware of "squirting" and I keep telling her that she isn't going to pee she's going to squirt and she still insists on going to the bathroom and within the amount of time she's gone I'm no longer interested. But the real issue is that she goes pee before foreplay and by the time I get up to go get the condom she leaves to pee claiming she has to pee and then she returns saying she took a while to pee. It really bugs me because what she does is a major turn-off and it would be nice to know how to handle the situation.

Could I be pregnant again?

I know I just need to take a test, but Im honestly scared to take one. I just had my daughter six and a half months ago and my husband and I wanted to wait a couple years until we tried for our second. I have been back on the pill for about 4 months now and well I haven't been steady with taking it this month. I forget to take it at the same time every day or I double up the next morning, which I know I probably shouldn't do. So I have noticed I have been feeling very gassy, bloated, lots of heartburn and I have been eating non stop!! I have been slamming hot dogs left and right and I never eat hot dogs and I am obsessed with Jalapenos suddenly! Not to mention I hate eating bone in wings and I slammed a thing of 12 at dinner two nights ago. Has anyone had the same symptoms when they were first pregnant? I was always hungry with my first pregnancy but I just couldn't eat a lot because nothing sounded good. I was sick as a dog for my first trimester. So if i am things are very different this time! Again I know i need to see my doctor and get a test but I just want to know if anyone else had the same thing in their pregnancy. THANKS!!!
